What a beautiful time of year! The trees are so pretty. Third graders have been very busy. We have been working on many things. November brings tons of stuff to do. The end of the first trimester is November 13th (a half day of instruction). Students will bring report cards home on Nov. 20th. Thanks for all your work with your child-rocket math, spelling, homework, reading. It all helps so much! The Hoover Pride Celebration Assembly will be on Nov. 13th. Students will need 9 or more cards returned by then. As of now, I don't know what the "celebration" thing is, but it should be announced soon. We have had a TON of absences due to several illnesses going around. If you would like the missing assignments for your child just email or call me, and I will get it together. I can send it with a sibling or it can be picked up in the Office-just let me know what works best for you. Have a great Thanksgiving!!!

Fall is here! I can't believe it is October already. Parent-teacher conferences are Monday, October 19th and Thursday, October 22nd. A reminder note will be coming home before then. The class has been working hard on Rocket Math. Many students are getting close to multiplication. That is awesome!!! Thanks for your help with it. The class earned 5 good behavior slips. They watched the video "Tales of Deperaeux". Hopefully, more slips will be coming! The Fall Party is Friday, October 16th. It will begin around 2:00. Room mothers will be contacting you if you signed up for treats. Thank you for all your help. Most students are handing in homework and Hoover pride cards on time.
